The first step of our cycling challenge will be to ride from Buenos Aires to Rosario - a 185 mile journey - in just three days.

From Rosario we will cycle 160 miles to Villa Maria, taking another three days to get there.
Bike stop 3: Rio Cuarto
Our next stop is in Rio Cuarto, covering the 83 miles from Villa Maria in 2 days.
Bike stop 4: Villa Mercedes
Two more days and 101 miles will bring us to Villa Mercedes.
Bike stop 5: San Luis
One day's cycling and another 62 miles will deliver us to San Luis province, Argentina.
Bike stop 6: Mendoza
Our next port of call is Mendoza, 160 miles and a 3 day ride from San Luis.
Bike finish: Santiago
The big push! Four more days of challenging riding will take us out of Argentina, following the the Cristo Redentor mountain pass to cross some little hills labelled on my map as "The Andes", and into Chile, arriving at Santiago, hopefully in one piece and ready for some R&R before the final stage of the expedition.
