Our handprints are just as significant as our footprints.
If a carbon footprint measures environmental impact, then a handprint can be a way of making a social impact. It might sound a bit lofty but there are plenty of things to do to make a positive contribution, and lots of people out there are already making waves, so it’s got to be worth having a go and joining in.
What can we do? Good question…
1. Hold free-yoga sessions and go for runs with our friends and neighbours. If you’re lucky enough to live on Oahu LRY will be starting a Sunday beach-yoga-for-runners group soon, watch this space for more details.
2. Volunteer with community projects, check your local newspaper for events.
3. Join local, regional, national or even international happenings!
September was Yoga Month in the US and there were plenty of free classes and introductory yoga sessions being held.
4. Take up a challenge, of any kind!
How about a new challenge for 2015? There are numerous challenges taking place on the Instagram community every day!
Or create your own challenge, and let us know – can we join in?
