Welcome to the first ever podcast from The Long Run Lifestyle!
I’m so happy to see this finally launching, and am excited to bring you interviews and insights from ‘activists’ around the Hawaiian Islands – and maybe farther afield in the future! Along with a conversation in each episode, there will be a few pieces of practical information – all bundled up into a short but sweet podcast of no more that thirty minutes. In fact, this first episode is just over fifteen minutes long!
The idea of starting a podcast began with the simple realisation that there are so many stories to tell. Basically, the podcast is one way of sharing information about people doing great things in the world and why not start with Hawaii – an archipelago consistently ranked as one of the healthiest and happiest places to live.
And although this website has an overall focus on yoga and running for the long run, the general theme of the podcast is just ‘being active‘. For example we’ll look at: exercise and keeping fit in the great outdoors; sourcing healthy and nutritious foods; seeking spiritual enrichment; caring for the environment that sustains us; and just generally how to be a wellness activist!
The podcast will be evolving, so please stay tuned for new episodes and developments as they happen! I’m excited to have you onboard for the journey – and look forward to hearing your feedback!
And without further ado, here it is:
